Who processes it for us
Service providers handle data on our behalf under their own security and privacy terms:
- Vercel, for hosting this site and its form handler.
- Resend, to deliver your application to Hudson's inbox.
- Cal.com, if you book a call.
- Asana and Dropbox, to manage client work and files.
- Anthropic and TypeSafe, to draft text and sort research during delivery.
Some of these providers store or process data outside Australia, including in the United States. We share only what each one needs. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Applications that do not go ahead are deleted within 12 months. Client material is kept for the engagement and deleted within 90 days of it ending, unless you ask us to keep it, or tax and legal records require longer.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit. We never ask for or store your social media passwords; publishing access is granted through each platform's own delegation tools. If a breach affects you we will tell you promptly, as the Australian Notifiable Data Breaches scheme requires.
Your rights
Under the Australian Privacy Act you can ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom you also have the rights to object, to restrict processing and to data portability. Email hudson@hearbyhq.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
